I have a theatrical background in both acting and writing, so I can and do integrate dramatic and/or humorous material into my speaking in order to punctuate the topic. The choice of topic can be your decision or mine or both of us together can decide. I am flexible and will be eager to meet your needs. Here are some sample topics:
- Let's be Friends!--To encourage an in-depth understanding of what friendship with God means and how our friendship with God affects all our relationships. (John 15:13-15) A favorite subject for women: Relationships! Good for conferences or retreats.
- Dance Anyway!--The overcoming, growing, exciting, changing life in Christ! The transitions and phases of our life in Christ. (Acts 17:28; Ps. 30:11) This is an appropriate topic for small group break-out sessions within a retreat type environment.
- Abba Father---To encourage development of complete trust and understanding in God as our Father in the full and perfect meaning of the word. This includes addressing the suffering of children and how an adult today may have a problem relating to ABBA FATHER since she was abused or abandoned as a child by her earthly father or other male figure. (Romans 8:14-18)
- F.R.O.G.---What does it mean to Fully Rely On God? How do we F.R.O.G.? (Ps. 20:7) A lot of contemporary and Biblical illustrations.
- Birth Pains-- Parallels physical and spiritual birth and subsequent "growing pains." Funny, joyous, poignant and true. Great for mothers of all ages! (John 3:3; 1Peter 2:2)
- Who is a Christian?- Choice. Change. Challenge. Hear all about it!
- The God of Hope--Romans 4: 18-25
- Passion for Christ-- Revelation 2:4
- Shining Stars--Philippians 2:15
- Knowing Christ--John 14:1-6
- and etc., etc., etc.
